Serelay attends inaugural Content Authenticity Initiative Summit at Adobe HQ

21st January 2020

On January 23, the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI), developed by Adobe, The New York Times Company and Twitter, hosted a kick-off summit at Adobe Headquarters in San Jose to explore this complex issue and advance the mission to develop an industry standard for digital content attribution and authenticity.

The summit convened an interdisciplinary group of industry leaders from tech, media, academia, advocacy groups and think tanks for a full day of lightning talks and roundtables. The group explored a range of different approaches and possible solutions, including product development, governance and industry standards. As a verification-provider, Serelay was delighted for the opportunity to participate and share its experience overlapping with its core area of expertise.

The summit was an important first step in our long-term effort to address the issue of content authenticity at scale and we look forward to supporting CAI as it develops further.
